i just cleaned the ear cheese off my recently stretched 00g tunnels.

the smell of ear cheese, is awful.

whats even more awful, is the smell of someone ELSES ear cheese.

puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke.

for those of you that dont know what im talking about, consider yourself very lucky. haha.

THIS almost made me puke when i saw it.

Howdy!
I have been a lurking member for a little over a week and I have really enjoyed going through past posts trying to learn all I can about vintage hair. I recently cut my hair to add layers so I could have some volume but it is still long enough that I can do some curls but what I really like are the 'victory rolls' but I never thought I could do something like that myself, being fashion and hair challenged. LOL
The main reason I decided to attempt victory rolls was because I chanced upon a friend's LJ post asking for help on making faux bangs and someone posted this You Tube video and I have watched and re-watched it numerous times until I was convinced a noob like me could do it.

I decided to try it. I ran to the local supply store and got a couple of sizes of foam rolls and some bobby pins. I had clean, fluffy hair and I am not sure if I need to do this hairstyle wet, with styling agents or what. I have no idea what setting lotion is and if I should use any, especially with color treated hair. My under layers of hair are red and pink, which I hoped would look nice in victory roll style. I like doing stuff with my hair but I get that embarrassing line of scalp showing so I hope to figure out how to camoflage it somehow. LOL
It took me a while to figure out how to set the bobby pins the right way but I think I did ok for the first time.

i hope they still have a great show.

Many apologies if this has been answered already. I do try to keep up with this community, but lo' the entries are numerous . . .

Simple question really, what does setting lotion feel like, once dried, in your hair?

One of the reasons why I'm not experimenting too much with setting my hair is that I don't enjoy the way mousse or gel makes my hair feel. It's crunchy and flakey, and not very touchable. And I'd like to not wash out the curls too quickly, so I don't wash my hair for a few days once set, but these products leave my hair looking VERY greasy.

Does setting lotion get around this? Does it leave your hair a little more touchable, looking a little less greasy?

I realize that I could buy some and figure it out myself, but I really don't want to add another bottle of something-that-I-don't-use to the cupboard under my sink.

задался я вопросом о своей визитке. интересно ваше мнение по сабжу.
не сказать, что у меня есть опыт создания визиток, скорее нет или очень маленький. но вот когда доходит дело до моей собственной - неизменный ступор, помнится даже друзей пытался напрячь по теме.
вот это результат второй попытки.
задача сделать как можно проще, но при этом, что бы запоминалось. запоминаться в данном случае должно за счет ряби в глазах. не знаю, плохо это или нет... знакомые-дизайнеры, у которых спрашивал мнение - говорят: прикольно, здорово, класс. попробовал продемонстрировать целевой аудитории - прямо противоположной результат. ваше мнение?
буквы замазал, что бы не отвлекали.

Last night I watched the episode of xfiles where the lone gunmen die. It made me sad.

I had a picnic with yamit, courtney, ian and matt mulaire at assinaboine park yesterday

i went to the falafel place with a coworker for breakfast

today is my day with courtney. i also have a dental appointment. I think I have cavities, and I hope they look into it properly. I think my dentist brushed one off last time, but hes retiring and I have a new dentist now.

my flowers still look good

my anthro club tshirt is rad

I kinda miss dirk? is that weird? maybe he will be free tonight

Dave has tomorrow off and I work during the day. Day shifts are short though, maybe I should remind him of this. It would be cool to be able to get together at like 3 pm instead of after 7. We can still have a nice long day together


Fibi might be playing at the afterhours club this weekend. I haven't gone to any after hours for a year and a half, once ritual closed down, actually thats a lie, I went to quite a few temple of sound nights. Anyhow, I haven't tried the place on sherbrook, even though its open every summer, but this is a good excuse to go! she leaving in less than a week

planning for Prairie Ink does LollaPOOLooza is under way. Many former coworkers are excited to come. I hope its a grand ol' time. I'm going to miss my job and the people sooooooo much. I've grown attached to my coworkers. This is what happens when you socialize outside of work! But its ok, it feels good.
